Form November 20th - December 23rd (closed November 22nd) At the end of the year, Rothenburg presents itself from its most attractive side. Embedded in the picturesque setting between the Town Hall and St. James' Church, the Christmas Market is considered by many to be the most charming in Germany. Some 60 stands will entice guests with delicious, beloved Franconian culinary treats such as Bratwürste, savory Flammkuchen and finely-seasoned gingerbread Lebkuchen and dozens of holiday favorites. Of course, spicy, piping-hot white, mulled Glühwein -- a Franconian specialty -- distilled spirits, and othertaste treats will delight the palette, their aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and brown sugarperfuming the air.
